#SafetyNet pieces feature dozens of small skeletons made with different materials like bronze (at Nikolai), paper (Saint John) who seems weaving.
#SafetyNet was shown in different locations such as St. Mary’s Cathedral (Limerick) for the Irish biannual EV+A 1998, St. John The Divine Cathedral (NYC) in 1999 and Nikolai Fine Art.
#SafetyNet is a memorial for David Blakeslee, Giusti’s friend, who took his life in 1992. It’s a collection of drawings, sculptures, photograms and installation works.
